Get out of your own way

One lesson I wish I learnt in my earlier 20’s, “get out of your own way Chanté ”. I think that I’ve been holding on to what is supposed to be, but not realizing the beauty of the present. The truth is I believe what Dr. srikumar Rao said, “we never trully have control”. Its all about perception. I’ll give you a solid example.

Dr. Rao narrated a tale of a man and his son. This son broke is leg while tilling the field. From that day forward he was paralyzed. The people in his village grumbled and murmured how unlucky the man was. The villagers went as far to say that no one will ever want to marry him. A few months later the king declared war and wanted every able man on the battle field. The family's of this village were downcast. They began to praise man and his son. At least the man had his son. Many of their sons may not even make it back home.

Funny huh? Who can you relate to in this story, the dad, son, or villager?

I tell you of this tale because what we think is a down fall or a bad course of event that happen, may be the universe/God/Spirit pivoting us in another direction. Death to me seems like a sweet deal, if my faith hold up to be true hahahahahahha. I don’t mean to be morbid, but it’s the truthl!

We are destined for greatness but at times I over think things 🤦🏽‍♀️. I can only image those that don’t know the techniques I have.

Wait, shameless plug time, have you bought my book yet? Totally should if you haven’t. If you have already, thanks😇!

Any who, get out your own way!

Believe that where you are is exactly where you should/need/must be. There is something new awaiting you, with a different mindset. If you dont change you’ll simply make the same mistakes.

Try smiling or complimenting someone else today! Get out of your own way!

Love you guys, peace out, and check you on my next blog!
