Fair Share of Mistakes
There comes a point when you and I have to admit we had something to do with the state that we are currently in. Mistakes don’t define us, they refine us.
It took a long time to realize that, but when I did, I felt a sense of liberation.
Each of our lives are composed of decision that we make. These decision can lead to unpleasant or pleasant outcomes.
Being able to decipher ‘the good or bad that we did’ is paramount, yet not the end. It isn’t mine or you job to show someone else their right and wrong doings. Speak of the injustice. Respond to the hurt. However, keep in mind, we are responsible for our own actions and what role we play in the situation.
Owning every step of the way, with humility is be key.
The truth is I don’t 100% of the time move in grace or understanding. I’m moody. I get angry and lash out. It takes me a while to figure out what I want. I am impatient, prideful at times. Oh, and this is a big one… you or I can't mind read, so don't think you know exactly how the other feels or think. Shoot 🤔 thinking about it will we ever 100% know how a person feels?
This is why we all should cultivate an attitude of responding verse reacting.
What mistakes have you made that you wish you could, would, or should, have taken back?
I’m here to tell you bad feelings don’t last, good doesn’t either.
I encourage us all to take responsibility of each step of the way.
💓 you guys, ✌🏽out and catch you on my next blog.
