Breathe into Gratitude

BREATH INTO GRATITUDE

There is so much that happens within a minute. I can tangibly speak to someone, and in the midst of a question being asked, I've already thought of 3 things. These are 3 things that may not have ANYTHING to do with the conversation we were even having 🤦🏽‍♀️. Someone please tell me I'm not alone on this 🙈🙊.

With tension running high there is always, yes always a point in the day where gratitude can meet you.

In my book I teach breathing techniques that are helpful for high stress moments.

BREATHE: 3 seconds of a deep breathe in, followed by 5-6 seconds of that breathe out.

I’ll give you a simple technique to follow.

Drawn your attention to where you are in this very moment. Find things that around you that are red. Good.

- Breathe-

Great!

Now this time close your eyes and breathe with the intention and awareness of the air going into your nostrils. When you breathe out, take notice of your shoulders relaxing.

-Breathe-

When tensions builds it is important to go deeper than thoughts. Grasp self through gratitude by grounding to the moment. You can only control one thing in any given moment. That one thing is you.

Before taking the next breathing cycle, think about 1-3 things you can be grateful about.

-Breathe-

How do you feel?

When you need to come back to the moment, when tension is running high, come back to the breathe.

Remember you are not in this alone.

Peace out and check you on my next blog ✌🏽🤗💚.
